Señor Smoke (2005) is the second album from Electric Six, following Fire in 2003. It was released in the UK February 14, 2005 by Warner Music imprint Rushmore Records. Due to complications with Electric Six's former record label, Rushmore did not release the album in North America. In December 2005, the band announced a new partnership with Metropolis Records that resulted in Señor Smoke's North American release on February 7, 2006.

Their second album, Señor Smoke, was released in early 2005 on Rushmore/Warner in the UK. Garnering much acclaim with the UK press, the band was brought to the attention of Metropolis Records who were interested in broadening the scope of music they released. A deal was quickly inked, and Metropolis is proud to be bringing Electric Six back to their native soil. Señor Smoke blends a mixture of disco, garage, punk, and indie rock with clever (but sincere) tongue in cheek one liners. Electric Six will change the way you perceive rock in 2006.

And Electric Six happen to be about 4 or 5 on my list of favourite bands of all time, and are easily my favourite band to see live (Along with Alter Bridge and Freaks Union, that is). Well, shall we proceed to the actual album" As soon as my Dad got home with this album and announced he'd found it buried behind a stack of other cd's in our local record shop, i was excited. But, i was shocked when he showed me his faverouite track, 'Dance Epidemic. Now, major flaw in my listening here. I started at track 6, went through to the end, then listened to the start of the album. The first track of the album 'Rock and Roll Evacuation' is fairly typical to the rest of the album.

Read full description. See details and exclusions. The second album from electric six and having to follow the superb "Fire" was no easy task. They have accomplished this if not bettered it. The best word to sum up this album is that it is fun. Electric six do not have a serious bone in their bodies and this album brings that through in huge bundles. Brilliant album, the band are starting to show some of their maturity (whether you think thats a good or bad thing is up to you). Would really recommend this.
