With the second outing of the Telefon Tel Aviv project, we see Joshua Eustis and Charles Cooper continue their soulful electronic sounds filled with the rich sound textures that has become their trademark. A fusion of classical and electronic soundscapes mixed with deep R&B grooves that flow with the pars first outing of vocals. This release also is accompanied by vocals: nine tracks filled with the soulful vocals of L’Altra’s Lindsay Anderson and newcomer Damon Aaron.

The Loyola University Chamber Orchestra contribute to the title track; a sumptuous centerpiece exemplifying Telefon Tel Aviv’s craft for wordless, cinematic storytelling. Ghostly International, having reissued Fahrenheit Fair Enough at its 15th anniversary in 2016, will update Map of What Is Effortless on April 7th. The digital release, noticeably absent in most streaming libraries until now, features three bonus tracks: Jouzu Desu Ne, Sound In A Dark Room, and a remix of the latter by legendary composer Ryuichi Sakamoto.
