Their sixth studio album Seal the Deal & Let’s Boogie is overflowing with clever and catchy songs. As for the album’s lyrical subjects, frontman Michael Poulsen says many of the songs address spiritual topics, but it’s not religious: It's not so much a theme, but rather using real characters who were strong in their belief about their contact with the spiritual world, with additional input from me, where I try and connect what once was and what. is no. Seal the Deal & Let’s Boogie kicks off with the moderately paced The Devil’s Bleeding Crown

The Devil’s Bleeding Crown pairs a galloping guitar riff with propulsive thrashed-out grooves. The band performed it only once in entirety last summer in Odense, Denmark.

Danish/American rock 'n' rollers VOLBEAT will release their sixth full-length album, "Seal The Deal & Let's Boogie", on June 3 via Republic Records. The Devil's Bleeding Crown" pairs a galloping guitar riff with propulsive thrashed-out grooves. The band performed it only once in entirety last.

Now three years later, the band offer their sixth overall studio album, Seal the Deal & Let’s Boogie. Released on June 3rd by Republic Records, it is the first album not to feature Bassist Anders Kjølholm, but does feature the core of Vocalist/Guitarist Michael Poulsen, Drummer Jon Larsen, and as of 2013, Lead Guitarist Rob Caggiano.

In fact, there’s a lot of moments that hark back to the band’s previous albums on Seal The Deal & Let’s Boogie – second single For Evigt (replaced by The Bliss on US copies) evokes memories of the band’s 2013 mega-hit Lola Montez in a major way, whilst Let It Burn has a touch of Pearl Hart about it. There’s a lot more bite to the songs this time round though – with songs like title-track Seal The Deal packing some serious riffs to match their choruses. The band’s more melodic side does get ample chance to show itself though
