Minx is a 1985 album by the British singer Toyah Willcox.
Minx was the first album released by Toyah Willcox as a solo artist. It has something of a controversial reputation as it represented a departure from her previous works, which tended toward thematic albums written almost in their entirety by Willcox and long-standing band members such as Joel Bogen and Phil Spalding. The album became very hard to find in the 1990s, and before its 2005 reissue, CD copies were commanding high figures on e-bay.

CDPRT 26415, CD 26415. This is an impossibly glossy Toyah album, all Fairlight Page R and Yamaha DX-7 and with only a little of the essential Toyah mojo. Soldier Of Fortune, Terrorist Of Love" could have been on "Changeling" but Christopher Neil's production has that same "plastic"' sound of Nile Rodgers that wears out its welcome. Don't Fall In Love" is the best single here but it too succumbs to mid-80s production. Soul Passing Through Soul" is a poor knockoff of Bowie's "Heroes

Desire is the second studio album released by Toyah Willcox as a solo artist. It is more typical of her band's earlier albums rather than its more commercial predecessor Minx, although it didn't entirely escape the imposition of cover versions, including "Echo Beach", originally recorded by Martha and the Muffins, and, somewhat incongruously, "Love's Unkind", originally by Donna Summer.
