Urel worked for Dealer's Transit out of St. Louis for many years, worked as a professional entertainer with a recording contract from Nashville, and worked driving a truck for Bridger Coal in Wyoming. Some of the things most important to Urel included fishing, singing, guitar, and family. It was April 29, 1992 when Urel passed away from prostate cancer.
