Performance Rockin' the Fillmore is the 1971 live double-LP/single-CD by English blues-rock group Humble Pie. It reached on the Billboard 200, and hit the UK Top 40. The hour-long set contains one original song and several covers.
Humble Pie is the third album released by English rock group Humble Pie in 1970, and their first with A&M Records. Humble Pie was a transitional album and a harbinger of the band's new, heavier direction.

Anthony had the band tour extensively around the United States, and Humble Pie produced the moderately successful live album Performance Rockin' the Fillmore in 1971 which helped them gain recognition with American record purchasers. Marriott always believed Dee Anthony had syphoned off band earnings to promote his new project, Frampton and his album Frampton Comes Alive!.
Performance: Rockin' the Fillmore is one of the great live albums of any rock era. Unfortunately, after this tour, Peter Frampton left Humble Pie for the uncharted waters of a solo career. This left the rest of the band looking for a new lead r/singer. Let's just say that the future of the band was not in jeopardy and their next album, "Smokin'", would continue the band's status as one of the biggest acts in rock.
