On top of the tag team male/female vocals, Fox Under Diesel contains an impressive songwriting craftsmanship that doesn't get too out of hand with the experimental noises. Melancholy, but enjoyable in a way that one could soak in the fuzz and delicacy; there's even a clever use of a telephone ring at the end of one song.

Tse Tse Fly were an early 90's alternative rock band based in Leeds, England. They sounded similar to Sonic Youth and played up-tempo yet smooth rock heavily focused on the guitars and both male and female vocals, usually in the same song. They are mostly known for spawning three future The Wedding Present members, namely bassist Jayne Lockey and guitarists Simon Cleave and Paul Dorrington.
