Asher Paul Roth (born August 11, 1985) is an American rapper. He is perhaps best known for his debut single "I Love College". Roth released his debut studio album Asleep in the Bread Aisle, on April 20, 2009, under Universal Motown, SRC and Schoolboy Records; the latter of which was launched by Roth's former manager Scooter Braun. Roth later left Schoolboy Records in late 2012, due to creative differences with Braun.

The Pennsylvania rapper warns those listening to put aside any expectations for good reason; while he still shows shades of the jokey freestyle MC heard on mixtapes, Asher’s songwriting proves he’s bringing more than a bunch of funny punch lines. One of the biggest surprises on the album is Oren Yoel, an unknown producer whose beat got to Asher’s people.

The Greenhouse Effect, Seared Foie Gras and Pabst & Jazz are all classics in my book. And asleep in the bread aisle does not show Asher's ability at all. As I Em, Lark on my Go Kart, and Fallin are my faves.
